Scot Park Ltd – Terms & Conditions. Please read these terms before booking. By making a booking you agree to be bound by them.

1. Bookings & Service

1.1 A booking is deemed confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation email or SMS with booking reference has been issued.

1.2 All bookings are valid only for the vehicle, date, time and airport specified at the time of booking.

1.3 Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed in writing by Scot Park Ltd.

1.4 It is the customer's responsibility to ensure accurate booking details are provided.

1.5 Whilst every effort is made to meet agreed collection and delivery times, Scot Park Ltd accepts no liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control including (but not limited to):

  • Traffic congestion
  • Road closures
  • Airport operational issues
  • Security alerts
  • Severe weather

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Full payment must be made prior to the commencement of service.

2.2 Any extension of stay will be charged at the prevailing daily rate.

2.3 If return time exceeds midnight of the booked return date, additional charges may apply.

2.4 Vehicles not collected within 30 days of return date without written notification may be treated as abandoned and handled in accordance with UK law.

3. Amendments, Cancellations & Curtailment

3.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the booked service date may incur an administration fee.

3.2 No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking start time.

3.3 Amendments requested within 24 hours of departure may incur an amendment fee.

3.4 All amendments must be requested via email or official communication channels and are only valid once confirmed in writing.

3.5 No refunds will be given for early returns or unused portions of bookings.

4. Park & Ride Service Conditions

4.1 Customers must arrive at the Park & Ride site and call the operational number upon arrival.

4.2 Shuttle transfer times may vary depending on traffic and airport conditions.

4.3 Customers must allow sufficient time before flight departure.

4.4 Vehicles may be stored at our main compound or secondary secure compounds where necessary.

5. Meet & Greet Service Conditions

5.1 Customers must call 30 minutes prior to arrival at the airport terminal.

5.2 A uniformed Scot Park Ltd driver will meet the customer at the agreed forecourt location.

5.3 Vehicle condition will be inspected at handover and recorded.

5.4 Upon return, customers must call once luggage has been collected.

5.5 Vehicles will be returned to the designated airport forecourt collection point.

6. Vehicle Condition & Customer Responsibilities

6.1 The vehicle must be:

  • Roadworthy
  • Fully insured
  • Taxed and compliant with UK Road Traffic laws

6.2 Customers must:

  • Remove all valuables
  • Inform staff of any mechanical faults
  • Provide correct keys only (no house keys or unnecessary items)

6.3 Scot Park Ltd is not responsible for:

  • Mechanical or electrical failure not caused by staff negligence
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Tyre punctures or slow leaks
  • Flat batteries
  • Warning lights already active
  • Alarms not disclosed

6.4 Only damage reported and documented at the time of vehicle return will be considered.

7. Liability & Insurance

7.1 Scot Park Ltd holds motor trade insurance covering staff while operating customer vehicles.

7.2 Liability is limited to damage caused by proven negligence of Scot Park Ltd staff.

7.3 Maximum liability for any single claim is £50,000 unless otherwise required by law.

7.4 Scot Park Ltd is not liable for:

  • Theft, fire, flood or acts of nature
  • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g. missed flights, hotel costs)
  • Minor scratches or stone chips consistent with road use
  • Interior damage unless directly caused by staff negligence

7.5 Claims must be reported immediately upon vehicle return and before leaving the handover location.

7.6 Customers may be responsible for excess charges where claims are made.

8. Exclusions & Limits of Responsibility

8.1 Vehicles parked personally by customers (where applicable) are left entirely at owner's risk.

8.2 Scot Park Ltd will not be responsible for:

  • Valuables left inside the vehicle
  • Alloy wheel scuffs
  • Tyre damage unless caused by proven negligence
  • Paintwork deterioration due to weather
  • Damage claims below £750

8.3 The internal condition of the vehicle is not inspected unless specifically requested.

9. Operational Rights

9.1 Scot Park Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service where customer behaviour is abusive or unsafe
  • Move vehicles for operational or safety reasons
  • Relocate vehicles between secure compounds if necessary

9.2 Vehicles may be driven for operational purposes including parking, cleaning, refuelling, maintenance or repositioning.

10. Force Majeure

Scot Park Ltd shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Airport closures
  • Strikes
  • Terrorist incidents

11. Changes to Terms

11.1 Scot Park Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

11.2 The version applicable is the one published at the time of booking.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
